BHAVANI - a small town in Tamilnadu, INDIA has its own story of rich and long heritage in Handloom weaving. The thick dhurrie type flat weave material made by cotton yarn are called "JAMAKKALAM"  The town earned its name  "CARPET CITY" for the mass production of Bhavani Jamakkalam.
